Jack cheese was "invented" in America loosely based on a cheddar recipe, and this flavor of Philabundance Jack is the most cheddary of all. It gets an extra kick! zing! pow! of flavor from the addition of fresh horseradish.
These Jack cheeses are made at Sunset Farms, a small third-generation family farm with 50 dairy cows run by Jacob Bieler out in Ronks, PA. His focus on the comfort of the cows and giving them the least stressful environment possible to live in. (Lucky cows!) This quality care leads to great rBST (antibiotic) free milk, which in turn leads to delicious cheese.
This easy-melting cheese would be a great base for your next spicy crab dip or even just melted down into a dip for soft pretzels. It's also great on a roast beef sandwich, served either warm or cold.
