The Flavor Experience

Salted caramel is a slam dunk flavor combination, and has been a guaranteed crowd pleaser from the moment someone mixed the two flavors together (let's find that guy and give him an award!). Now imagine all that salty-sweet goodness, with a grown-up kick. Fat Toad Farm Salted Bourbon Caramel is made with fresh goat's milk, cane sugar, pure sea salt, and finished with Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Added at the end of the cooking process, the alcohol in the bourbon is burned off, infusing the caramel with a rich, smoky, elegant taste. It's the perfect balance of salty and sweet.

The Story

Located in central Vermont, Fat Toad Farm uses a herd of 60 Alpine dairy goats to make their Goat's Milk Caramels. Made in small batches, the caramel is hand-stirred for five hours to a gorgeous, golden consistency, and mixed with pure cane sugar and natural ingredients like French Bourbon vanilla bean, cinnamon sticks, and even Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Each jar is bottled by hand, ensuring a truly authentic pasture-to-pantry experience.

Usage Tips

Skip the sugar, and instead add a spoonful (or three...) to your cup of coffee for a non-alcoholic, sweet and salty take on traditional Irish Coffee.
