The Flavor Experience

Made from native Iberico pigs, this richly hued chorizo sausage is seasoned with hot paprika, cumin, nutmeg and oregano. With a stirring, inviting aroma and heat profile that is balanced but very much present, this 2016 Sofi award winner is a Di Bruno Bros. favorite. All natural and free of nitrates and nitrites.

The Story

Fermin Martin and his wife Victoria started Fermin in 1956 in La Alberca, Spain, using artisanal methods to produce the finest cured pork products in the world. All these years later, the company is still family-run, and Fermin Iberico ham was the first to enter the US market.

    Don't expect this to taste like a Mexican Chorizo, It is mellow and slightly similar to Italian dry salami, but with a bit of a kick and mild smokey highlights. Excellent with any cheese and a Roja.
