The Flavor Experience

A truly well-rounded olive oil.  Fruity, almost appley flavors up front give way to grassiness in the middle and black pepper spice in the finish.  This flavor transformation takes place on top of a rich, hearty texture that lingers on the palate.

The Story

Produced by the Frescobaldi family, famous for Brunello and other Tuscan wines.  They formed a consortium in 1989 after an early frost devastated the local olive yield, and collaborated with other experts establish farming and harvesting practices to combat unpredictable weather.  They are now considered one of the best olive oil producers in the world.

Usage Tips

Good Tuscan oil is used to finish just about any traditional Tuscan dish.  We like it on top of some charred or sauteed vegetables.  It brings life to soups, too, like Minestrone or Tomato.
