The Story

Raised in West Chester, PA, with family roots in the Abruzzi region of Italy, Chef Joe D’Andrea grew up cooking large Sunday dinners with his grandmother. While studying in Parma and working in Michelin-starred restaurants in both New York and Italy, Joe used his newly-honed skills to make fresh pasta. Once he was home, he started Vera Pasta as a side project. Vera Pasta has since grown into a fully-fledged business, and we are proud to represent this hometown hero.

Usage Tips

Take simple sauces to the next level. Caserecci pasta works best with a blend of fresh ingredients like sauteed cherry tomatoes, garlic, and basil. Pair with sausage and red sauce in a casserole dish for a comfort dish that takes you back to nonna’s kitchen.
