Provolone & Mortadella Grilled Cheese

Serves: 1 Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 10 minutes

Thick slices of Italian bread, layered with Provolone Auriccho Stravecchio, Mortadella, chopped artichokes, and mozzarella. Then grill up that sammie!

Ingredients

2 slices sourdough bread
1/2 cup provolone, grated
1/2 cup fresh mozzarella, grated
1/2 marinated artichokes, chopped
4 slices of mortadella
2 tablespoons butter

DIRECTIONS

Layer provolone, mortadella, artichokes and mozzarella in between bread.

Melt butter in a hot non-stick pan. Add sandwich to pan. Fry on each side for about 5 minutes over medium heat until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
