ABBRUZZE CHEESE SPREAD
Very good flavor.
Garlic and chiles deliver incredible heat and spice.
The Abbruzze DB Cheese Spread is a spicy spread for the most discerning snacker. With a rich cheddar base for spreading, dipping, or even cooking, this is definitely Philadelphia’s new classic.
Origin: United States
Unit Size: 7.6 oz.
GET IT! Loaded with zesty garlic and plenty of red chiles, Abbruzze Cheese Spread is the classic spicy treat of the Italian Market. With a rich cheddar base for spreading, dipping, or even cooking, this is definitely Philadelphia’s new classic.
Our founders, Danny and Joe DiBruno, hail from Abruzzo, Italy (back of the mid-calf, using the traditional boot model), lending their homeland’s name to many of our favorite products. Sun-dried diavolino (“little devil”) peppers are the ubiquitous seasoning in this region. Though South Philadelphia may be a far cry from the lush pastoral vistas of Abruzzo, Danny and Joe chose to evoke their native seasoning tossing a healthy sprinkle of red chiles into dishes that have become local classics.
We can eat this all day, scooped up onto Di Bruno Bros. Olive Oil Crostini, but there’s plenty else to do with our favorite cheese spread. Locals delight in tossing it with pasta for a spicy mac ‘n’ cheese, and any sandwich, hot or cold, gets an extra dose of heat and cheesy-goodness from a thick layer of Abbruzze Cheese Spread. Try it with roast turkey and cranberry sauce or on a classic Italian hoagie!

Very good flavor.
This cheese spread is wonderful. It's great on crackers or for dipping vegetables or melted over pasta. I highly recommend it.
wish it came in bigger containers

Absolutely love it!!
love it
My family and I love this spicy spread . I ordered 2 and got 2 free.
So this cheese spread (approx 1/3 of a container plus 1 tablespoon butter) over pasta, is the number one nostalgic food of my childhood. It is spicy and warm and comforting and delicious. When I was a toddler my dad used to bike to the Italian Market with me in tow, and the people at the DiBruno's stall would give me samples of everything as I sat on my dad's shoulders. When I was in college the store in Rittenhouse square opened and purchasing the abbruzze was a little bit of a stretch for my broke college kid budget, but I would buy it as a splurge. I was overjoyed when I found it in a super market in Brooklyn as I was starting my career in my 20s. Now I live in North Carolina, and I can finally order it online and be immediately transported back home. I give it to my sisters for Christmas every year, and it is always well received. Please keep making this spread forever, it is my favorite food :)
This was my first time trying this. I will definitely order again.
Bought this to take to a party...it never made it, I ate it...Delicious cheese spread!
