BIRCHRUN HILLS FARM AND TIRED HANDS BREWING COMPANY TEAM UP WITH DI BRUNO BROS. FOR A BEER & CHEESE CELEBRATION
On Thursday, May 12th, two of Philadelphia’s great local artisans, Tired Hands Brewing Company and Birchrun Hills Farms will come together and team up with Di Bruno Bros. to share an evening of great food, great beer and great people!
Tired Hands Brewing Company is a new and upcoming brewing company that will offer an eclectic selection of ales using the highest quality, local ingredients. Birchrun Hills Farm is a family owned local dairy farm in the highlands of Chester Springs, offering hand crafted raw milk cheeses among other fresh delicacies. We are proud to welcome Owner/Brewer Jean Broillet IV of Tired Hands Brewing Company and Susan Miller Owner/Operator of Birchrun Hills Farm.
The event, which will take place Upstairs at Di Bruno’s Chestnut Street, will be an incredible experience for those interested in tasting and learning about the brilliant, creative pairing of beer and cheese. Guests will be seated for a 5 course tasting created by Di Bruno Bros. Chef Rob Sidor. With a new emphasis on locally grown products, Birchrun Hills Farm and Tired Hands Brewery have inspired Chef Rob to create a menu that will showcase the art of beer and cheese together with the use of fresh local ingredients. After the seated tasting, you will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Jean, Susan, and Rob.
The celebration will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday, May 12th, 2011 in the Upstairs Café at Di Bruno Bros. located at 1730 Chestnut Street. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 at the door. Seating is limited, so it recommended that you purchase tickets in advance. Reservations can be made by contacting catering@dibruno.com. We look forward to sharing with you and celebrating our passion for great food, great beer and great people!
