At this time of the season, most gardens are exploding with bright colored veggies and all sorts of produce that will find its way to the dining room, but at Upstairs @ Di Bruno’s, our Chefs have pioneered the perfect summer plates utilizing the best combinations of ingredients for our Cafe that will have your taste buds bring to mind a memorable trip to the heel of Italy’s boot or a cruise to the breathtaking tropics of Maui.

Burrata, a specialty of Apulia, a region in the heel of Italy’s boot, has only recently made its way across the Atlantic beyond Italy and into the kitchens of top American chefs for our enjoyment. This luscious cheese is finally being showcased Upstairs @ Di Brunos on our new menu, and you will taste why it was worth the wait. Piccolo Burrata e Pomodoro, accompanied by simple dressed heirloom tomato is a must eat. In appearance it looks like a ball of mozzarella with a knot tied on top, but inside is a soft and creamy mixture of heavy cream and straccietella, or “little rags” of mozzarella curds. But wait…..Di Bruno Bros. has pioneered an even tastier surprise for Burrata fans. Our burrata is filled with porcini mushroom and ricotta, and the delicious creamy center is all held in tact by the skin of fresh mozzarella. The end result is amazing and your taste buds will know they are among the world’s finest and freshest cheeses.

The Hawaiian Misto Salad is another innovative creative discovery by our Di Bruno Bros. Chefs. Baby pineapple, fresh mango, Asian pear, sun-dried papaya, toasted coconut, hearts of palm, and a sweet and sour soy vinaigrette are among the delightful flavors you will get the pleasure from in one bite of our new feature. You can choose to top the Hawaiian Misto with Grilled Chicken, Sirloin, or Tuna, or just enjoy it on its own, because flavor is one thing it does not fall short of.
