Danish Blue

Danish Blue is a semi-soft, blue-veined cheese made from cow's milk with a tangy and salty flavor. Its texture is creamy, but still firm enough to crumble on a salad.

As blues age, their salt content becomes more concentrated. Because of this, a Danish Blue - and most blue cheeses in general - love to be paired with something sweet. Drizzle on some honey, have fun pairing different sweet fruits and jams - or go for gold and stuff this into a date, wrap it all in a piece of prosciutto (classic) or speck (if you like it smoky) and warm it all up.
