San Ignacio’s heirloom recipe for Dulce de Leche produces a smooth, silky and creamy mouthfeel with deep, caramelized flavor and milky sweetness. Their farmhouse milk is slowly cooked with sugar and vanilla until it thickens and caramelizes.

The Story

Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, San Ignacio is a dairy that has produced authentic Argentinian cheeses and Dulce de Leche since founder Don Ignacio Rodriguez Soto took up dairy farming in 1939.

Usage Tips

Simply used as a topping for ice cream or yogurt, alongside flan, to make sandwich cookies (alfajores), as dip for fruit or simply spread on toast. Definitely not intended for simply spooning as a snack.
