The Schaller & Weber story began nearly one hundred years ago when Ferdinand Schaller started work as an apprentice butcher and sausage maker in Stuttgart, Germany. Ferdinand migrated to the US and opened a butcher shop in the Yorkville neighborhood of New York's Upper East Side. Today, the recipes and techniques that established Schaller & Weber as a premium producer have been expanded beyond their German roots.
