The Story
In the United States, cheddar cheese has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. It was initially produced by English immigrants in the northeastern states, and over time, it became one of the most popular and widely produced cheeses in the country, with various regions developing their unique cheddar styles. Wisconsin, with its rolling hills and fertile soil, produces over 25% of all of the country's cheese. "America's Dairyland" indeed!
Usage Tips
Enjoy on top of crackers or sourdough bread with our Strawberry Prosecco Jam, or shredded into a gourmet mac & cheese! A crisp golden lager or pilsner would be the perfect partner in crime for this lovely cheddar. A few cuts of Benton's Bacon and thick slices of bread and you've got yourself a lunch.
