Originally from the Netherlands, the family emigrated to California and founded their own creamery in the early 1980s. Drawing from their Dutch cheesemaking heritage, the Van de Guchtes created Lamb Chopper, a cheese with a unique buttery and nutty flavor profile. Today, Lamb Chopper continues to be celebrated as a delicious and versatile cheese with a rich history and cultural significance.
