The Story
Buffalo were first introduced to northern Italy in the 14th century, and they've been using the milk for cheese there ever since. Quattro Portoni has enhanced this tradition by producing a variety of classic Italian cheeses - including Reggiano, Gorgonzola and Robiola - with buffalo milk. Quadrello is a buffalo milk version of Taleggio, Italy's most famous washed-rind cheese.
