If you live work in the Rittenhouse area as I do, you are certainly surrounded by fabulous choices to eat lunch. This area has become home to Philadelphia’s top chefs and restaurateurs. There are many cafés to choose from and some of my favorites are located right here on 18th Street, but my busy schedule prevents me from having the opportunity for the dining experiences I love. However, as someone once said “to eat well is to live well”, and you can still eat well, in under 30 minutes, at Upstairs at Di Bruno's.

Join us Upstairs at Di Bruno's, and your experience will allow you the luxury of enjoying artisan food, in a fast-yet-casual atmosphere. Our Cafe may be the only lunch spot in Rittenhouse Square that combines the European feel of a Tuscan Café with the friendly service of old school South Philadelphia tradition.

Whether you choose to eat-in or take-out, all of our a la carte entrees are prepared before your eyes in our Studio Display Kitchen. Our most popular choices are our sophisticated salads, such as Escarole & Beans, or the Warm Goat Cheese & Arugula. I love a great salad, and our chefs understand that the art of making the perfect salad is about freshness, simplicity, and attention to detail. We use only the freshest and best ingredients to pioneer the perfect salad, and our staff understands the importance of perfect execution. Together, we prepare the finest food available for you in a timely manner.

My personal favorite is our Escarole and Bean Salad. We take a hearty portion of crisp Escarole, toss it in a Lemon-Balsamic Vinaigrette using our own Di Bruno Bros. Extra Virgin Olive Oil. It is topped off with our White Bean Salad, a few thin slices of our best prosciutto, and shaved ribbons of Parmigiano Reggiano. In addition, we offer a Tuscan Style Pizza station, Gourmet Hot Bar and Salad Bar priced by the pound, and a variety of gourmet hot soups. Entree Prices range from $7-$13. Gourmet Pizza $6-$13
