Mandarini Provolone
Mandarini Provolone
Description
Description
Our Domestic House Aged Provolone is savory, spicy, and subtly smoky; a beautifully spun curd and well rounded, the Di Bruno Bros. offer you a cheese that's not too sharp, not too dry and not too smoky.
The Flavor Experience
Made in Wisconsin and lightly smoked over hardwood, Grande Provolone has grown to be as American as apple pie. It truly has earned its place in the Italian American Landscape as a go-to favorite from tailgating to parties, sandwiches to pizza.
The Story
After moving from Sicily to US in search of the American dream, Filippo Candela quickly became a producer and supplier of 'old country favorites' to Italian immigrant families across the States. Upon arrival to Wisconsin, Candela purchased a small dairy and orchard. For Grande, the dairy and the orchard are connected and is evidenced in the Mandarini as milk is harvested daily and the finished product is lightly smoked over applewood in daily process.
