Get ready to embark on an unforgettable gastronomic experience. This advent calendar contains 24 mini-jars of fruit-based cheese accompaniments - one for each day leading up to Christmas. Each accompaniment is made from carefully selected raw ingredients, using fruits and vegetables harvested at their optimal ripeness.
This calendar is a project created through the enthusiastic and tireless efforts of the dedicated team at Can Bech, a company started in 1981 as a restaurant in Fontanilles, Spain. This family business got into the production of fruit spreads soon thereafter to support the restaurant's menu. In 2004, they took the leap and started canning and distributing their fruit spreads throughout Spain. Their first products to hit the shores of America arrived here in 2012. Many of their products have won international food awards along their impressive journey.
The rule of thumb is to start at one and work your way through December, day by day. Of course, if you happen to miss a day, that means double the pairings the next day
