The Flavor Experience

The wine may color this spread with a prom-dress hue, but our Provolone & Chianti DB Cheese Spread brings serious flavor. An Italian Market staple from the DB Specialty Cheese collection, sharp provolone brings its characteristic punch, clinging to the deep, bright tones of Chianti.

The Story

We sell a lot of sharp provolone here at Di Bruno Bros. A LOT! It doesn’t surprise us, then, that this hot pink spread is consistently popular. If you’re not a local, we encourage you to give this cheese spread a shot so we may proceed to indoctrinate you into our cult of provolone lovers. ONE OF US!

Usage Tips

What a provolone delivery system! Wrap lettuce leaves and slices of salami (we recommend Molineri’s Sweet Toscano or Finocchiona) around dollops of this spread for hoagie-flavored bites, or spread it right onto your hoagie-proper! The sweet notes of the wine make this especially nice to serve beside ripe pears and tart apples, or fresh figs and Concord grapes

Very good cheese spread. Could use a bit more chianti, but excellent all around flavor

Got this and several other of the spreadable cheeses for my son for Fathers Day. He hasn't had a chance to try all of the 4 I sent, but he has practically finished the container, he likes it so much.

  3. Great, Versitile Cheese Spread 5 Star Review

This is another one of my favorite Di Bruno Bros. cheese spread. I like to turn it into a pasta "sauce" by topping cooked pasta with some spread and adding a bit of the pasta water. Makes a quick, simple, and delicious meal. Last week I used it in a grilled cheese with slices of provolone and capicola. Best grilled cheese ever! I order this several times a month.
