Wine Lover's Collection

Raise a glass & a wedge!

Quick Overview:

Does all cheese go with wine? Yes. But do certain cheeses go better than others? Absolutely! These are a few of our most versatile, go-to pairing cheeses to enjoy with whatever style of wine is being enjoyed. Goat Gouda and Piave bring a hint of sweetness, while savory Schnebelhorn and Gruyère round everything out.

Includes:

  • Beemster Goat Gouda – 8oz. Crunchy goat's milk gouda with a snow white hue. This dense, smooth cheese from Holland ends with a satisfying crunch. Great with sparkling pink wines and bright, acidic red wines. Add crunchy nuts if you can as well!

  • Manchego – 8oz. – Pick any word that one might use to describe cheese. Buttery? Nutty? Grassy? Rich? Yummy? All of these describe Manchego, and it's easy to see why this has been a bestseller at our shops for years.

  • Schnebelhorn – 8oz. – As delicious to eat as it is to say! Pronounced "Schneb-el-horn," this complex raw cow’s milk cheese is made in the Swiss Alps and named after the tallest mountain in the region. Schnebelhorn has plenty of deliciously pungent sharpness, wrapped up in a firm, creamy bite.

  • Cave-Aged Gruyère – 8oz. – Le Cret 1655 is the hallmark specimen of Gruyere, being both representative of the style and an outstanding example of how good it can be. Wholesome flavors of toasted seeds and buttered toast end with an umami finish

  • Piave – 8oz. – A younger, sweeter parm style—so uncomplicated and easy. Nutty, fruity and bold, this cheese has the perfect amount of crunch and delicious notes of pineapple. Pairs perfectly with red and white wines alike!

  • Mild SoppressataOur Mild Soppressata is an Italian classic; rustic and savory. Our recipes and process stay true to traditional Italian salami, and are produced with regional Italian spices and the old-world technique of slow air-curing for at least 45 days. Best with red wine, but surprisingly fun with a glass of bubbles too.

Many of our products are imported or made in limited quantities throughout the year, and because of this we sometimes temporarily run out of inventory. In these instances we will substitute items of similar quality, and you can rest assured that you will be pleased with your order. If not, please contact our customer service and we’ll refund the cost of the substituted item.
