Crumbly & fudgy but retaining a creamy texture that practically dissolves on the tongue. All hail the king of blues!
Country of Origin: UK
Milk Type/Treatment: Pasteurized Cow
Rennet Type: Animal
Colston-Bassett Dairy has been making Stilton the old-fashioned way since the early 20th-century. They source their milk from only five neighboring farms and that attention to detail and quality shows through in the finished product. This blue is formidable, there's no denying that. But the strength of the penicillium roqueforti doesn't overpower flavors of lush, grassy milk.
Colston Bassett Dairy has been making Stilton for over 100 years. It is that dedication to tradition that makes Colston Bassett Stilton the only Stilton you'll find in our case. Colston Bassett Stilton Stiltons are pierced less than others so that there is a richer, creamier texture. They work with only five farms in Nottinghamshire to source their high-quality milk.
Tradition dictates that one must have port with stilton and you'll get no argument here. But if you're in the malty mood reach for a barleywine or imperial stout—preferably something with a little barrel age on it.

Cheese #1. Combine sharp cheddar with blue cheese and you have the best cheese you can eat. It's great crumbled into a tossed salad. Di Bruno Bros ships quickly, securely and offers a great deal on imported Stilton. I'm a customer as long as they sell it.
This is one of my father's son and holy Ghost products for the cheese board never fail but I'm still waiting for St. Angel brie
Delicious, now its a fond memory.
My son-in-law introduced me to this cheese. It is nearly addictive in its' delightful flavor profile.
This Stilton was the Best ever tasted
I received this pairing gift from my son at Christmas. This is one of the best Stilton's that I have had in a long time (... since moving from England). It pairs nicely with the Blood-Orange Grappa Jam, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt and a nice glass of vintage Port!
I very rarely leave a review but but felt I needed to as this was to me one of the best Stiltons I have had in a long time. I don't think anyone would be disappointed in this Colston Bassett Stilton Cheese
Absolutely a delicious fromage.
